We've had a week of warm (warm for here, not really warm) weather and very little rain so the flowers are blooming, things are green and there are signs of life all around. On Tuesday night we had a night with no plans so took a walk down along the Cam river.
We found a big group of young ducklings. Unfortunately we didn't have any bread along with us and the ducks didn't seem too fond of crunchy granola bar pieces...
The cows have also returned to the Cambridge commons. There is a small herd of brown steers that graze on Midsummer Common along the river. They are very used to having people around so they pay no attention when you walk right up to them (or when they are standing across the path and you try to get them to move).
I'm 32 weeks along now, so 8 to go. We've been going to birth classes on Wednesday nights the past couple of weeks. Next Wednesday we are taking a tour of the hospital where we plan to have the baby. Time suddenly seems to be moving very quickly toward the due date!
